Robbie Ure has extended his contract with RSC Anderlecht. The 20-year-old striker has signed a contract binding him to the Purple & White until June 2027.
From Glasgow to Brussels. Just a bit less than a year ago, Robbie Ure moved to the capital of Belgium and signed a first one-season contract with Sporting. The young Scotsman went on to perform really well with the RSCA Futures.
In 16 Challenger Pro League, the young Scot scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists. After his good season with the U23s, Robbie also got a taste of the first team, coming on as a substitute in the final Champions Play-off match against Antwerp.
Robbie is currently on training camp in Portugal with the first team. In the first three preparatory matches with the senior team, he managed to score two goals.
Academy Director Mikkel Hemmersam: 'Robbie has been an incredible story since he joined the club. From day one, he made a significant impact with the RSCA Futures. He’s a typical number 9. He can protect the ball, score goals, while also being effective in the link-up play. He has a strong personality and is just an all-around great guy. We’re convinced that he has a bright future ahead of him.'
Congratulations, Robbie.
