The RSCA Futures welcome a young, talented goalkeeper in preparation for the new season. Timo Schlieck (18) joins us on loan from RB Leipzig with an option to buy.
Timo is a talented German goalkeeper who signed his first professional contract with Germany's top club earlier this year. The 1.95m-tall goalie enjoyed his formation at the youth academies of Bielefeld and Dortmund. He joined RB Leipzig's U17 in 2021.
At Leipzig, Timo was the goalkeeper for the U19’s last season, where he also played in the UEFA Youth League. The goalkeeper is also a German youth international.
Academy Director Mikkel Hemmersam: “Timo is a young, talented goalkeeper who fits the profile at RSC Anderlecht. He has a good physical profile and he’s good at distributing the play with his feet. He’ll make a good addition to our goalkeepers’ team and we look forward to seeing his development in our environment.”
