Gorak Ghale puts pen to paper at RSC Anderlecht

Gorak Ghale has signed his first professional contract with Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht, becoming the fourth player of the 2008 generation to sign at the club, after Terry Van de Ven, Nathan De Cat and Amine Mahroug.

Gorak is a native of Antwerp who made the move to Neerpede two seasons ago, where he immediately felt at home. Gorak is a creative and dynamic midfielder who plays mainly in the 8 and 10 positions. The young Belgian with Nepalese roots is also often decisive with a goal or assist.

The ones who keep a close eye on Neerpede already got the opportunity to witness Gorak's talent at the 2024 Future Cup. He left his mark in Amsterdam, with two assists in the tournament and a strong performance against PSG in the group stage.

Next season, Gorak will join our U18s, who aim to become champion in order to qualify for the UEFA Youth League.

Academy Director Mikkel Hemmersam: "Gorak is a central midfielder who's good with both feet and can play a variety of offensive positions. He's a player that embodies the RSCA DNA, so we're very happy that he has signed a contract with the club."

Congratulations, Gorak.
